School Type: Co-Educational

In 1997, the double garage of Ian and Suzy Veldsmans farm was converted into a classroom to house the first nine pupils.  A year later the school was relocated to an old house kindly made available by Roly and Alicia Sinclair.

When Joan and Graham Cross donated a 4,5 hectare piece of land to the school in April 1999, the decision to erect our own building was taken.  After a huge effort by parents, we opened our doors to 45 pupils on 19 January 2000.

Vision

The Summerhill Prep School strives to produce confident individuals who are equipped with the values, knowledge and skills to face the challenges of the ever-changing world.
