School Type: Co-Educational

To measure the greatness of a school, some would count the pupils.
At Wembley College, we prefer to make the pupils count.

Founded in 1997, Wembley College is an independent, co-educational school that provides a world class education in a supportive environment with a Christian ethos. Catering for pupils from Grades RRR-12, Wembley College is situated on a sizable property in Greytown, overlooking the picturesque farming valley.
Pre-Primary (3-6 years)

Wembley College is a registered Cambridge Primary School. With the consistent and stable programme that we provide, we develop lively enquiring minds, an imagination, perseverance, a sound work ethic, coupled with enjoyment and fun. The children also develop a sense of self-respect, confidence and moral values across all cultures.

Primary (Grades 1-7)

The main goals in the Primary phases are the cementing of sound English and Maths skills, linked with the development of strong social and emotional life skills before entering the more demanding years of high school. Our passionate and qualified staff regard the individual needs of our pupils as a priority. The Cambridge Primary Programme is balanced and comprehensive and aims to extend the pupils to achieve their potential.

High School

Wembley College is a registered Cambridge University Examination Centre and offers the internationally recognised IGCSE and AS level. This local and international recognition is based on the CIE’s high profile amongst many international schools around the world and its reputation as a vigorous programme that encourages high academic standards. Great emphasis is placed on the acquisition of skills, the application of knowledge and the development of students’ thinking skills in our High School.

Scholarships and Bursaries

Wembley College offers a limited amount of scholarships for pupils entering Grade 8 and who show excellence in academics and sport.

Computer Centre

From Grade R, learners acquire computer skills. There are two well-equipped computer centres and all pupils have controlled access to the internet.

Boarding

Wembley College offers boarding to pupils from Grades 7 – 12. We aim to provide our boarders a home-from-home atmosphere in the boarding houses, and all within a structured and disciplined environment. The House Master and House Mistress, with the support of assistants, take care of the well-being of the boarders. Weekend activities and outings are arranged from time to time and are facilitated by the weekend duty staff.

Aftercare

An Aftercare is run by the school daily, during the school term.

Extra Classes

Academic support is offered for the High School in the afternoons at no additional cost. Students are encouraged to make use of this facility to catch up on missed work due to absence or due to slow progress. Students are always urged to make use of the academic support to enable them to extend their knowledge.
