KILDARE PRE- PRIMARY SCHOOL was established in 1968 in the beautiful grounds belonging to St. Andrew’s Church. We are a private, subsidised pre-primary school and are under the jurisdiction of the Department of Education.
We have four classes catering for children 3½ to 6 years of age. Each class has 25 children and there are 9 staff members – 4 qualified teachers, 2 teacher assistants, a secretary, a caretaker and a domestic helper.
Our programme is based on sound pre-primary educational principles and provides a flexible balance between teacher-directed and non teacher-directed activities, free creative periods and routines.
We strive to cater for each child according to their individual needs enabling them to reach their full potential in all areas of development.
