ISASA is pleased to present its new Guide to Effective School Transformation and Diversity Management.
This Guide seeks to offer schools a broad understanding of, and guidelines for, addressing issues of diversity, transformation and social justice, particularly in the independent school environment.
Organisational transformation and diversity management are no longer optional in South African organisations – they are legal requirements with which the employer organisation and its employees are required to comply. From an institutional and individual point of view, transformation and diversity are need-to-do processes and, from a legal standpoint they are must-do processes.
This Guide therefore approaches and offers guidance for transformation and diversity as institutional, legal and personal imperatives. It also provides information and steps that may be followed in the process of transformation.
